SOCO holds fire in DRC

SOCO International has agreed with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in a joint statement to not to undertake or commission any explo- ration or other drilling within Virunga National Park unless UNESCO and the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) agree that such activities are not incompatible with its World Heritage status.
