BP to cut jobs

UK major BP is preparing to cut hundreds of jobs, as the oil price continues to decline, say reports. BP has been cutting jobs since the 2010 Deepwater Horizon disaster in the US Gulf of Mexico. The company faces a January trial to determine civil fines under the US Clean Water Act, a total that could balloon to nearly US $18 Bn after the company was found to be grossly negligent.
