Carnarvon sells Thai stake

Carnarvon Petroleum has sold the remaining 20% stake in its onshore Thai production assets to Berlanga Group. “This is very positive news for Carnarvon. In the current weak oil price environment Carnarvon management should be given significant credit for completing this deal. The deal releases cash from a field that has had a volatile production history and allows Carnarvon to focus on its North West Shelf (NWS) activities,” said the company.
