GDF SUEZ has sealed a deal with Statoil for the acquisition of 10% stake Production Licence 420 (PL 420) offshore Norway. PL 420 is situated between the Gj?a field and the Skarfjell discovery. PL 420 holds the Titan dis- covery. This makes GDF SUEZ the fourth partner in PL 420. Under the farm-in deal, Statoil’s stake will drop from 40% to 30%.
