Sweden’s Lundin Petroleum has kicked off the 16/3-8S appraisal well on the Johan Sverdrup dis-covery in the Norwegian North Sea. The well is located on the Lundin-operated Production Licence 501 (PL 501) in the eastern part of the discovery.
