Oil Search reports that the Taza 2 well in Kurdistan, northern Iraq is at a depth of 3,200m (10,498ft) and is drilling ahead in an 8.5-inch hole towards the first of the primary objectives, the Jeribe Formation. During the week, the well was drilled out of the casing shoe, pressures tests were conducted and 11m (36ft) of new formation was drilled.
