Dominion Resources has entered into a joint venturewith three other US operators for a US $4.5-5.0 Bn pipeline that will transport natural gas toNorth Carolina and Virginia.The proposed 885km pipeline, to be built byDominion, will also be owned by Duke Energy,Piedmont Natural Gas Co and AGL Resourcesunder the partnership Atlantic Coast Pipeline.Dominion will operate the pipeline that isexpected to transport 42.49 MMcm/d (1.5 Bcf/d) ofnatural gas, the partners said.
