GoM Guadalupe oil discovery

Chevron, BP and Venari Resources have made an oil discovery on the Guadalupe prospect in the deepwater US Gulf of Mexico (GoM). The discovery well in Keathley Canyon Block 10 was drilled by operator Chevron on behalf of the Guadalupe co-owners. The well encountered significant oil pay in Palaeogene age Wilcox Sands.
