Brazil oil discovery for Petrobras

Brazil’s state-owned Petrobras has made an oil discovery in the Entorno de Iara open acreage area in the pre-salt region of Brazil’s Santos Basin. The Entorno de Iara-1 well (1-BRSA-1146-RJS) was drilled at a water depth of 7,435ft (2,266m) around 378km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.
