Germany’s Wintershall is hoping to find more reserves at its Asha Noor discovery offshore Norway by drilling two wells that will target peripheral prospects. Fred Olsen Energy’s semi-submersible Borgland Dolphin has started drilling the first of two wells that will explore the potential of the Amol and Asha East prospects in the Wintershall-operated Production Licence 457 (PL 457), according to partner Bridge Energy.
