EOC back in the black

Ezra Holdings’ unit EOC Limited posted a profit for Q2 2013, recovering back from a loss in same quarter last year. EOC posted a profit of nearly US $2.9m following a loss of around $8.7m during Q2 2012. The rebound was achieved despite revenues for the quarter falling 36% to $12.3m, with EOC saying it benefited from a one-off project revenue contribution from a construction project undertaken in Papua New Guinea during the same period last year, which contributed $9.8m in revenue.
