Balin targets Latvian Baltic

Balin Energy, a JV co-owned by PKN ORLEN and Kuwait Energy, is planning to drill its first well in the Northern Block of Latvia’s economic zone in the Baltic Sea. Diamond Offshore Drilling will carry out the work with the Ocean Nomad rig in exploration licence No 1/2009 (North Block-Northern Block).
