Apache hunts Argentina assets

Apache is in negotiations with Argentina’s stateowned YPF regarding the sale of its assets in the country, according to reports. The US player, which holds stakes in around 25 Argentine fields as well as operations in Egypt, Australia and the North Sea, said in May that it planned to sell $4 Bn of assets to cut debt and shore up its balance sheet and share price.
