Gazprom has brought onstream its first subsea production facility with the Kirinskoye gas and condensate field now onstream offshore Sakhalin Island in Russia’s Far East. President Vladimir Putin officially launched gas production from the field, which lies 28km offshore Sakhalin in the Sea of Okhotsk.
