Eni’s $4.2 Bn Mozambique sale…

Italy’s Eni has sold a 20% stake in Area 4 in Mozambique to China’s state-owned CNPC for US $4.21 Bn. Following the deal, Eni will remain operator of Area 4 with a 50% stake, while state-owned Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos de Mocambique holds 10%, South Korea’s Kogas has 10% and Portugal’s Galp Energia has 10%.
