Green light for Norway well

Det Norske has been given the go-ahead by Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority to drill exploration well 2/1-15 in Production Licence 542 (PL 542) in the southern part of the North Sea with the M?rsk Giant rig. The planned start-up of operations is 1 August, with operations expected to last 60 days, depending on whether a discovery is made.
