SBM Offshore has received a Letter Of Interim Award (LOIA) from Shell for the supply, lease and operation of a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel for the Fram field in the UK North Sea. The LOIA allows SBM to start engineering and procurement of long lead items to for the Fram FPSO project.
