BW Athena heads to North Sea

Ithaca Energy said today that the BW Athena Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel has set sail from Dubai Dry Docks World for the UK North Sea. All FPSO production critical equipment was run and fully tested prior to vessel departure, thus minimising the period between arrival in the field and first production of oil, Ithaca said.
