UK Cladhan South disappoints

Valiant Petroleum has seen disappointing results from the Cladhan South exploration prospect well in the UK North Sea. The well in Block 210/29c encountered multiple Upper Jurassic sand channels on prognosis, none of which were thought to be hydrocarbon bearing. The well will now be plugged and abandoned. Valiant had a 30% stake in the well. Its costs were carried through the well.
