Saipem wins $1.1 Bn deals

Italy's Saipem has won offshore engineering and construction contracts worth a total of US $1.1 Bn in Brazil, Angola and the Caspian Sea. In Brazil, Saipem signed an Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Construction (EPIC) deal with state-owned Petrobras for the Sapinhoá Norte and Cernambi Sul projects in the develop- ment of the Pre-Salt Risers in the Santos Basin. In Angola, Saipem has been awarded an EPIC contract by Total for the GirRI (Girassol Resources Initiatives) project in Block 17 around 210km northwest of Luanda.
