Nido gets Philippines rig

Australia’s Nido Petroleum has taken on a rig from UMW Standard Drilling to drill the Baragatan prospect on Service Contract 63 (SC 63) offshore the Philippines. Nido has signed a binding contract with UMW for the newbuild jack-up rig Naga-5, which is due to be delivered from Singapore’s Keppel FELS yard in May 2014.
