Somalia has accused Kenya of awarding blocks illegally to Total and Eni because the acreage lies in waters claimed by Somalia. The row between Kenya and its war-torn neigh- bour could complicate exploration activity along a part of the East African coastline, which is becom- ing a global hot spot.
