Kalimantan appraisal success

Salamander Energy has successfully appraised the Tutung gas condensate discovery with the Tutung Alpha-3 (TA-3) appraisal wel l in the Bontang PSC in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The TA-3 well was spudded on 25 March and drilled to a total depth of 10,994ft (3,351m) using the MB Century-28 land rig. The well was target- ing Middle Miocene sandstones of the Pulubalang formation.
