UK-based Serica Energy plans to start drilling this year on four blocks that it recently won in Namibia’s Luderitz Basin. Serica has already made enquiries about acquiring extensive 3D seismic data over the blocks. The move comes after Serica signed a cashplus-shares deal with the National Petroleum Corp of Namibia as part of an agreement reached with the Namibian government and Indigenous Energy.
