Valiant Petroleum said today that its Tybalt appraisal well 211/8c-5 in the UK North Sea has been disappointing. The well was drilled to a total depth of 13,212ft (4,029m) measured depth and penetrated a full Upper Magnus sandstone member section, com- prising 844ft (257.4m) gross, with 316ft (96.4m) of net sand. Some 210ft (64m) of core was success- fully recovered from this interval.
