Land power for Norway fields

Statoil has set out a timetable for electrification of a number of giant oil and gas fields in the Utsira High region in the Norwegian Sea from land. The company wants to see power being sup- plied from land to the Edvard Grieg, Ivar Aasen, Johan Sverdrup and Dagny fields from 2018. Equipment would be installed in 2017, with power deliveries starting from 2018.
