Statoil looks north to Harstad

Statoil is to set up a new operational area based in Harstad in northern Norway, with start-up in the first half of 2013. The company said it is making the move due to the considerable increase in activities taking place offshore the three northernmost counties in Norway. "This will boost our presence in northern Norway and help ensure added value from the northern fields in the future.
