Tul low Oi l is in negotiations for a stake in Hyperdynamics' offshore Guinea Contract Area, with Tullow maybe even taking over as operator. Hyperdynamics, which is looking to sell off a large slice of its 77% stake in the acreage, said that Tullow was in talks to acquire a 40% share under an exclusivity agreement with subsidiary SCS that expires on 19 November.
