Prosafe Philippines deal

Norway's Prosafe has sealed a short-tern rig con- tract, worth up to US $70m, with Shell for opera- tions offshore the Philippines. The Safe Astoria will provide accommodation support for Shell on the Malampaya 3 Depletion Compression Project for at least nine months. The major also has three one-month options over the unit with on-site operations set to start in Q2 or Q3 2014.
