Total has hit pay in its 34/6-2S exploration well which is targeting the Garantiana prospect some 30km northeast of the Visund A platform in the Norwegian North Sea. The well is being drilled with the Borgland Dolphin semisub and is targeting stacked Jurassic/Triassic reservoirs.
