Nod for Barents Sea Eik well

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has given the Norwegian Energy Company (Noreco) the go- ahead to drill well the Eik exploration well 7228/1-1 in the Barents Sea. The wildcat well will be drilled by the Transocean Barents rig in Production Licence 396 (396). Noreco will operate the well with a 50% stake, while the other licensees are Front Exploration (30%) and Petoro (20%).
