Xcite Energy said today that the 9/3b-7 well on the UK North Sea Bentley field is progressing satis- factorily, and that it has reached a total depth of 6,684ft (2,039m). The 17.5-inch section has been drilled and the 13.75-inch casing set, cemented and pressure tested. The 12.25-inch hole has been drilled. Drilling to the reservoir section will follow.
