The estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) of the Galoc oil field in Service Contract 14C1 (SC 14C1) offshore the Philippines has been increased following an independent assessment. The report by Gaffney Cline & Associates for Nido Petroleum increased the proved plus probable ultimate recovery and reserves of the field to 22.9m bbl as of 31 December 2011, an increase of 23% on the previous estimate of 18.6m bbl.
