Italy’s Saipem has won offshore and onshore drilling contracts worth a total of around US $500m. In offshore drilling, Saipem has signed a two- year extension of the contract with Eni for the charter of the Perro Negro 8 jack-up rig, which is engaged in activities offshore Italy in the Adriatic Sea.
