BG Group has agreed to sell its majority stake in India's Gujarat Gas Co Ltd (GGCL) for around US $470m to Gujarat State Petroleum Corp (GSPC) subsidiary GSPC Distribution Networks Ltd. The deal, which is subject to regulatory approval, involves the sale of BG's 65.12% stake in GGCL, which it said is India's largest private sector natural gas distribution company. The deal is due to complete during the first half of 2013.
