Progress on US Cove Point

Dominion Energy is pushing ahead with plans to export LNG at its Cove Point facility in Maryland. Dominion has fully subscribed the Cove Point terminal's capacity to Japan's Sumitomo Corp and another unnamed company. The proposed expan- sion would process up to 750 MMcf (21.25 MMcm) of natural gas into 5m tonnes per annum of LNG.
