Talisman Energy has agreed a deal to sell a 49% stake in its UK North Sea assets to Sinopec for US $1.5 Bn. Talisman entered the North Sea in 1994 and holds operated and non-operated interests in 46 fields, operating 11 offshore installations and an onshore terminal.
