RWE kicks off Zidane-2

RWE Dea has spudded an appraisal well in a bid to unlock more reserves on the Zidane prospect in production licence PL435 in the Norwegian Sea. The well is a follow up to the successful Zidane-1 exploration well, which encountered gas in a 492ft (150m) column in the Fangst group. It is being drilled with the West Alpha semisubmersible.
