Duo wins Ichthys LNG work

Leighton Holdings subsidiary John Holland and Macmahon Holdings have won a contract for onshore construction work at the Inpex-operated Ichthys LNG gas project in northern Australia. The 50:50 joint venture will carry out civil con- struction works associated with the onshore LNG plant and related facilities. Leighton said the works would include access roads and earth- works, as well as drainage and ground improve- ment works for the establishment of the project.
