Saipem bags $800m deals

Italy’s Saipem has won onshore engineering and construction contracts in South America and West Africa worth around US $800m. In Nigeria, Saipem has landed a deal for the Otumara-Saghara-Escravos gas pipeline by Shell Petroleum Development, as part of Shell’s campaign to reduce gas flaring in the country.
