NIOC hits Iran oil

State-owned National Iranian Oil Co (NIOC) has discovered light oil in the Khayyam field offshore Iran's Hormuzgan province "The volume of in-place oil at this field is 758m bbl of which around 22%, or some 170m bbl, are recoverable," said NIOC managing director Ahmad Qalebani on state television.
