US player Hess has made a large deepwater discovery in the Paradise prospect offshore Ghana and drilling is set to continue for two more weeks. The operator said that the Paradise prospect in the Tano Cape Three Points block has hit 370ft (113m) of net hydrocarbon pay in two separate intervals so far. Paradise has a water depth of 6,038ft (1,840m).
