Uganda farm-out sealed

Tullow Oil has completed the farm-down of 66.6666% of its Ugandan licences to China’s stateowned CNOOC Ltd and France’s Total for US $2.9 Bn. The farm-down follows the recent signing of Production Sharing Agreements and the Kingfisher production licence with the government of Uganda. Under Ugandan farm-down consent, operatorship within the basin will be divided between the partners.
