Tune shutdown set for 2014

Statoil and its partners in the Tune gas and condensate field in Norway’s Oseberg Area will cease production and begin decommissioning in 2014. The field in Production Licences 034, 053 and 190 has produced gas and condensate since 2002. Tune has been developed with a subsea template, Tune A, and with a satellite well at Tune South. The field is tied back to the Oseberg D platform. Phase 1 of low pressure production began in April 2008 and a Phase 2 is scheduled for early 2012.
