Saipem bags $550m Norway job

Italy's Saipem has been awarded a three-year con- tract by the Norway's Statoil, extending the char- ter of the semisubmersible rig Scarabeo 5 for drilling activities in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. The contract is worth approximately US $550m and will start in the third quarter of 2014.
