Lochard targets UK Thunderball

Lochard Energy (formerly Rheochem) said it will be opening a data room for potential appraisal drilling partners on the UK North Sea Thunderball gas discovery at the end of August. The Thunderball field was discovered in 1997 by Arco with well 14/26b-5, which encountered a 129ft (39m) hydrocarbon column within a 450ft (137m) gross interval, believed to be Scapa sands.
