Brazilian seismic firms GeoQuasar Energy Solutions and Stratageo Solu??es Tecnológicas will merge to form the country’s largest data acquisition player. The new company, called GeoQuasar STTG, plans to capitalise on the ambitious exploration efforts planned in the coming years by Brazil’s state-owned Petrobras and domestic operators such as OGX and HRT.
