Otto Energy has started a 3D seismic shoot overService Contract 69 (SC69) in the Visayan Basinoffshore the Philippines.The seismic vessel BGP Explorer has been con-tracted to shoot the data. Otto plans to acquirearound 210sq km of 3D seismic over SC69.“SC69 covers 5,280sq km in the central VisayanBasin where the data acquired from the success-ful 2D seismic campaign last year confirmed thepresence of two sizeable reef structures, Lamposand Lampos South that sit immediately adjacentto the Calamangan Trough which is modelled togenerate both oil and gas,” said Otto.
