Anadarko hits Mozambique pay

Anadarko’s Barquentine-2 appraisal well in Offshore Area 1 in Mozambique’s Rovuma Basin encountered more than 230ft (70m) of natural gas pay in high quality Oligocene reservoirs. Barquentine-2 was the first appraisal well in the Windjammer, Barquentine and Lagosta complex, which is estimated to hold a minimum of 6 Tcf (169.9 Bcm) of recoverable gas reserves.
