Luna drill date firmed up

Elko Energy has firmed up a spud date for itsLuna exploration well offshore Denmark.The well will be drilled in the second half ofSeptember with the Maersk Resolve rig.The Luna prospect is located in a small halfgraben with the pinch out edge to the southeastof the structure.Elko said: “The Rotliegendes reservoir isthought to have a high probability of being pres-ent at this location based on the seismic interpre-tation. Uncertainty still exists however on whichseismic event represents the top reservoir andwhere the pinch out occurs.
